There are many ways to get involved in the life of our church. Prayerfully consider volunteering your time and talents.

Serve as Usher

Welcome visitors and newcomers at worship services and church events

Prepare elements for Communion

Serve Communion

Help to lead in worship

Put flowers in sanctuary one Sunday
In lieu of flowers, make a donation

Volunteer to teach classes for Wednesday Night Fellowship/Education or Sunday Family Fusion

Volunteer church office worker/receptionist

Share a hobby you have with an Early Childhood Education Program class

Read to an ECEP class

Help with ECEP functions (Grandparents Day, End-of-Year Party, etc.)

Prepare/Help Prepare Wednesdays Together Meals

Help set up for meals

Help serve and clean up

Host an adult or young-adult social

Assist in planning adult adventures

Help with special receptions/luncheons/events (Carnival, Easter Breakfast, Picnics, Christmas dinner)

Help with Retreat to Montreat in March

Encourage new people to explore becoming a part of our congregation

Develop connections between our church and Coker College/Governor’s School

Contact new or prospective members

Pastor’s Aide (assist in visits, calls, cards)

Provide transportation to church, doctors, grocery, etc.

Food Guild (help with food during birth, death or extreme illness of members)

Prayer Shawl Ministry (look under Service for more information)

Help maintain building and grounds

Participate in church clean-up days

Perform special repair work (electrical, carpentry, etc.)
