youth PRAYER BREAKFAST

On Wednesday mornings during the school year, the youth meet in the fellowship hall at 7:00 am for Prayer Breakfast. The youth eat breakfast together and share in a devotional before starting their school day.

Youth Fellowship

Youth Fellowship is every Sunday night during the school year from 5:00-6:15 pm at the Fish House, located at 610 Prestwood Drive . Dinner is served at 5:00 followed by group building activities, Bible Study or a service project. The youth also plan and lead "5th Sunday Vespers" which is held behind the Fish House on beautiful Prestwood Lake.

MOntreat Youth CONFERENCE

The Youth participate in the Montreat Youth Conference every summer. This is held during the last week in July and is open to all youth who have completed 8th-12th grade. Fundraisers are held throughout the year to help offset the registration cost. For more information on Montreat, please visit their website at montreat.org.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation classes are offered to youth in the 6th & 7th grade every odd year from January to May.  Confirmation prepares the young people to make a public affirmation of faith in Jesus Christ on Confirmation Sunday. The days and times of the classes are set each time Confirmation is offered.

Youth plan, prepare and lead an entire worship service with music, liturgy and a message.

Youth Summer Programs

During the summer months, youth have an opportunity to serve as youth leaders during Vacation Bible School, in the Soup Kitchen and other service projects offered by the Director of Youth Ministry.
