Erin Gainey
Director of Early Childhood Education Program
Erin is a native of Sandersville, Georgia. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Georgia College & State University, she began her career at the Department of Family and Children’s Services as a social worker and later as a social services supervisor.
In her line of work, she worked with children who were victims of child abuse and neglect where her main goal was to ensure that every child was in a safe situation. Moving to Hartsville in 2010 Erin married her husband Tommy and has two children, Thomas and Davis. She spends most of her time attending soccer matches, football games and golf tournaments.
Erin served in the role of Office Assistant for our ECEP Program until August 2020 when she was appointed as Interim Director.
