Property & Grounds Supervisor

Alan Norwood joined FPC in 1972. In 1973 he was married by Rev. Calvin Chestnut, to Debby Townsend,  who is a lifelong member of FPC. After 30 years in the insurance industry, he is retired from Norwood Ins. He has held positions as Deacon and Elder, and worked with the youth for more than 25 yrs. enjoying the Prayer Breakfast, and many trips to Montreat. He currently serves as Property & Grounds Supervisor for FPC and oversees everything needed to keep God’s house running as efficiently as possible.  Alan & Debby have two sons, Russ and Kevin, who are both members of FPC and enjoy three grandchildren.
