A Note from Our Pastor

Over the past month, our church and our community saw a rise in Covid-19 cases. We saw our hospitals and schools navigate the challenges that come from seeking to care well for our community. It has been a hard month as so many of us hoped our community and world would be in a different place. Despite these realities, there has been SO much good over the past four weeks. Just last week, we saw our community blanketed with beautiful snow and the stillness it brought. As I watched a group of children running through a field set on having an epic snowball fight and as I heard the giggles and laughter that ensued, I was reminded once again of God's goodness and grace amidst challenging seasons. Sometimes it takes slowing down or changing our perspective to see God at work, but when we do, we will experience a peace that will carry us. A reminder that we are not alone.

My prayer for our church, for our community, and for each of us individually is that we will have eyes to see God's grace breaking into our lives. I pray that we will have ears to hear the wind of God's spirit. I pray that we will be carried by God's gracious and loving peace. I am honored to be your pastor.

Blessings,

Ashley
